Digome Adds Former Echo Superstars
Digome recently added some of the top talent from Echo Music, a division of Ticketmaster. Echo, based in Nashville, delivered some of the best websites and fan club marketing services in the Music space. Digome is quickly picking up some of the best technology, programming, marketing, and client services talent at Echo.
“There are many artists and bands who are worried about the future of their websites with the demise of Echo Music,” said Roe Frazer, Managing Executive of Digomé. “With four of Echo’s top guys coming over and combining with our existing creative team and Digome Web 360 Platform, we are ready to help these artists get back on the web fast, with a superior website at a very competitive price.”
The people joining Digomé from Echo Music are: Kelly Henderson, Casey King, Brian Matthews, and Charlie Palmer.
Having worked in all aspects of fan club marketing at Echo, Henderson will head up Digome’s fan club marketing services. At Echo, Henderson worked for a wide variety of artists including Rascal Flatts, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Brooks & Dunn, Colbie Caillat, Craig Morgan, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, Kellie Pickler, and Korn. Brian Matthews and Charlie Palmer add to Digome’s depth in programming, graphic user interface design and production, and systems development.
Matthews and Palmer have created some of the most dynamic and engaging websites for music artists, including Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Beyonce, Kanye West, Jewell, John Mayer, Dierks Bentley, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, Ice Cube, and Foreigner.
Casey King brings a strong background is sales, artists relations, and account management in music and sports properties.
“We bring three things to the table to help the artists that no other website developers are doing,” said Frazer. “First, we provide live streaming capability from the celebrity's website, with video on demand archiving. Second, we provide PPV e-ticketing and provisioning for PPV events streamed directly from the celebrity's website. And third, we develop fan club marketing strategies to maximize the fan's experience and the celebrity's revenue. We work in tandem with the artist to create interesting content and offerings, allowing them to connect with their fans and give those fans a reason to buy.”
In addition, Frazer said Digomé is also bringing a new attitude and price structure to website design, hosting and marketing. “In this economy, people are searching for price correction in every phase of professional services, including online marketing,” he said. “We are bringing price correction and stratification to this business.”
“We are building tomorrow’s websites today,” said Frazer. “We have the best technology and team to make the web audience excited about their favorite artist’s website. We are seeing a lot of interest in our e-ticketing, provisioning, and authentication system, Usher, which gives bands and artists a very easy way to monetize live events and/or archived video by selling tickets for online viewing."
